Interesting that they chose to do this now. They're spinning it that his contract simply expired. Don't buy it.

Wow.. I would have thought they would have kept him through the appeal at least.. He may rat them all out now..

RB coach-The one that set up the R. Bush deal...
Way to completely misrepresent the facts. I sometimes think nobody has even looked at the actual allegations against USC. They simply make up scenarios to fit the way they want things to be.

Didn't he also have a some problems with pain killer addiction. I know there were some stories last year about it. Probably a good idea to let him go.

i'd say the evidence is pretty clear mccnair had some dealings with lake and it seems very unlikely he didn't know reggie was on the take.

interestingly with this move not a single guy has remainded from carrolls staff. true housecleaning.

If you don't count Kiffin and the Ogre... I know what you are saying though.

Point taken I guess that is actually correct.. He is the 1st one that knew about it at least the 1st one to know about it.. It is still up on the air if he had anything to do with setting up.. I think he originally wanted the deal for Harvin...

He's the guy that took a middle of the night call from the agent and then called Bush in the middle of the night correct?

Can't see letting his contract "expire" as being the right tone for the NCAA appeals process. Might be trying to save him face though and keep him quite.
