I liked both but personally I thought tombstone was better. Not a huge Costner fan. Val Kilmer was a better doc too IMO.

This is almost as obvious as UT - Vandy.

Poor Val, being a bloated stereotypical villian in a crappy SNL skit made into a movie is no way to live.

I am related to Wyatt Earp. Not very distantly either. My family reunion is called the Earps reunion.

Two completely different movies so it is hard to compare. "Wyatt Earp" with Costner, is a biography of sorts tracking the major moments of his life. "Tombstone" is about the Earps' time in Tombstone and the famous gun battles with the Clanton gang. Wyatt Earp is more involved and complicated. Tombstone is more entertaining. Costner is a better cowboy than Kurt Russell.

Again, two different movies. I like both of them equally

"Hour of the Gun" with James Garner as Wyatt Earp and Jason Robards as Doc is better than both of them

Tombstone....no contest. Costner is one of the most overrated actors ever.

I'm so happy they are finally making a new Robin Hood to make up for the crap that Costner did.
