I'm just curious about what you guys think about Tommy's uber aggressive decisions in the 3rd quarter last night.

Sure, the pooch kick worked (this time)- but my first reaction was "what the heck are you doing?!!" Tubberville was coaching like it was the final minutes of the game and they were down 2 scores.

Was it a total lack of respect for SC's offense? A personal vendetta aganist the Ol' Ball Coach? Or just plain insanity?

Thoughts, opinions...

In the post game interview he said they saw something in the kicking game against SC this past week that they thought they could expose. He went on to say that the wind was against them and they would probably only be able to kick it to the 35 or 40 any way so he thought it would be the perfect time to take the chance.

It's called aggressive game management. I can understand why the concept is foreign to our fans.

Since it worked, he's a genius. Had they given SC the ball around midfield, it would have been a bonehead call. High risk, high reward.
