Gentlemen, this is all with immense talent & depth. I don't care about the pulled scholarships, they have recruited the best players in the nation year in & year out. To my knowledge, nowhere near the attrition we've had.

Yep...they've had their pick of QB's there in the SoCal area, if not the whole west coast. I bet the USC admin. is thinking, "Damn, we should have left him at Tennessee!"

I think we dodged a bullet in one sense...only to take one to the head, with Dooley.

No, Kiffin would have been the bullet to the head for this program. Dooley was the bullet to the heart.

I guess we are either seeing that stars dont matter or coaches make a difference...maybe a little of both

They more or less brought him in to ride out the sanctions; their recruiting reductions and scholarship reductions end after the 2014 season (next season)....
