I want to be excited for tonight's game, but more than anything, I think I am just scared that we won't even show up. As much as I hate to say it, I really feel like this team mailed it in long ago. Anyone else feeling the same way?

Nevertheless,

I fully expect a thorough beating. I don't think it will even be close.

I don't think it's lack of motivation on their part, they just look like they really don't know what they're doing half the time. Also these sub patterns have been absolutely terrible all year. I put the whole year on Bruce, it's his mess.

Automatic loss. Vandy gets 10-15 points from the officials at home and our defense has been atrocious lately.

If we get in a hole early, we will get blown out. No doubt. If we can somehow find some sort of motivation and stop Jenkins from scoring 30 pts., we might hang in there, but we will still lose IMO.

Yeah, I hope I'm wrong but this is as close to an automatic loss as can be without being a statistical certainty. They *might* squeak by Ms St and SC, but the final loss against KY by at least 20 coupled with a 2nd round exit in the SEC tourney will seal the NIT for the Vols. This has been the most frustrating year I can remember, simply because they had so much potential.

On the bright side, at least the lady Vols are on the right track. It will be fun to watch and enjoy them in March! :clapping:

Need a win tonight. I'm not feeling too good about it though. The last 7 or so games,my confidence in the team has went down dramatically

Could have something to do with losing 4 out of 5 games? Maybe the fact they look clueless and lazy at times?

it might be close for a while. i think vandy takes over in the 2nd half and wins by 12-16 points. the ref's won't have anything to do with it. tired of people blaming the ref's for losses.

Have hope VN Tyler Summit is starting tonight, and Bruce's plan is to get him open in the corner and let him bank 3s in all night, Book it.:blink:

I'll watch it. But it may be hard. I hate losing to Vandy though. I hope they can get out of their season funk tonight.
