Well we are in need of a secondary coach and I do believe Tony Dungy just retired. Im sure he is going to be bored and even though it is still a lot of work, a secondary coach in college can't have as big of a workload as a head coach in the league. Having all that said, I realize this is an absolute absurd idea. But what if? Monte was in Tampa when Tony was right? It would be nice to coach on the defensive side of the ball with an old friend wouldn't it Tony?

Absolutely absurd is correct.

I can't help but chuckle at the possibility though. Best coaching staff ever. haha.

Dungy will be the next DB coach. I talked to someone inside the program tonight..Said it is 100% done.

Dungy retired to focus on Ministry work. No way is he interested in ANY coaching job!

Could you imagine being Lane Kiffin with this looking over your shoulder every day:
-Tony Dungy (NFL HOF Coach)
-Monte Kiffin (NFL HOF Coach)
-Ed Orgeron (more head coach experience than you)

You want to surround yourself with the best, but Lane was already the most underqualified guy on this staff. Adding Dungy to the mix would be like putting Lane in diapers and handing him a baby rattle.

Rex is close friends with Rod Wilks, so I would watch what I say if I were you.

He provides more info than everyone combined. He is also objective.

And furthermore he is right, having to read through all of the garbage gets annoying. This idea is absurd. Not even worth considering.
