I really hope the admin is stepping forward with the facility upgrades needed to keep him.

Chris Burke was The Swain Event on Monday and just ripped how bad our facilities are. Said that Vitello can't bring recruits through the front of LNS because it looks so bad.

Also said it's ridiculous that schools like KY and Bama have spent $15-25m on their program whole we've done very little but we have a better history.

Agreed on not spending the money to improve the program and agree with better history than UK. However, if Burke said our history is better than Bama’s he’s a bigger homer than anyone in this forum.

A University of Alabama employee told me much of their ballpark renovation money came as a result of their somewhat successful football program ;-) Money from football has built/renovated a bunch of buildings on that campus.

It’s only compounded by the out of state tuition money flowing in there despite it not costing anymore to educate an out of state kid.

I was going to make a joke about it actually being cheaper because you don’t have so many remedial FR students who received an Alabama public school education. But then I remembered my kid was born and is being raised in Alabama, so my joke would hit too close to home.

May have to double Coach V's salary if he gets us to # 1. Mizzou may come knocking and he may listen. Definitely need some major upgrades to LNS.

I don't think MIzzou is in the hunt for him to leave for if he would be enticed to leave. Their facilities are worse than ours by a long shot. I think he is here for a while as long as they reward him and his staff and promise to make upgrades. If they don't reward him and his staff after this year, then he will probably leave because they never will. But he will get offers with what he has done in his time here.
