Wouldn't have thought the 8 team would've been that high since they've given away over 100 points in two out of those three races.

What is even worse is that Mark Martin didn't race in 2 of those races, but he is still ahead of Dale Jr. in points. That is sad. :cray:

Jr. will be OK......I don't know if you can really blame him for Saturday night, from what I understand that would have been a decent move if that last caution wouldn't have came out.....Now some of those other races, yeah those were his and his crew's fault for not using better pit strategy....He's had a great car's every where this year with the exception of Daytona just don't have the finishes to show for them...It's still a long season, he'll have something for them later on, he just can't afford any more DNF's.

He definitely was the victim of some bad luck Saturday night. If JG had pitted a lap earlier or if his pit hadn't been down on the end, the same thing might have happened to him.

I can't remember the last time the short-pitting strategt worked in NASCAR. As many cautions (granted, at least there was an accident that caused that one) that are thrown every race, I'd be to scared to try it.

He's had some of the worst luck out of anyone this year aside from maybe Stewart and a couple of weekends Kurt Busch has had some bad luck

That's pretty much what DW was saying as soon as he hit pit road.

I remember Harvick used to do that all the time and it's a 50/50 chance of it working or back firing.....Ditto on being scared to try it....It can make you have a good finish or it can totally screw you and so far this year anyone that's tried it, it has totally screwed them

I hope Jr.'s luck changes this weekend. If it doesn't change at Dega, I don't know when it will.
