This is one old fans opinion of reasons we have problems.

10-are confidence is not there
9- we seem to have good corners blitz more
8- we dont trust the freshmen
7- team doesnt use tight end and middle enough
6- use 2 backs stay fresh ( neal had less yards 2nd half)
5- our coaches not using the talent we have
4- team not adjusting during game (Coaches)
3- coaches need to have the _alls to thrown downfield
2- we need a qb that can run (see oregon and florida)
1- we need qb

Oh well, that fixes everything. We should forward this info to the staff immediately and I am sure one this is implemented all our troubles will be behind us.

What talent that we have are we not using??
We have tried to throw downfield..
2- See Alabama...
7.. our TE's could not start for any other BCS conference school...

10. How could there be after the last 2 seasons?
9. CBs are faster this year, and Sutton is going to e very goodb
8. We shouldn't have too
7. What TE you want to use? Downs? We don't have a receiving TE right now and Coach Elder has said that over and over. He also mentioned that a lot of the offense runs through the slot TE, but when ya don't have one it limits your plays.
6. Lane was hurt. Tom Smith hasn't played much, so when the game got tight Neal was the only option.
5. Really? Please show me the talent they aren't using? The WR are open but the QB can't hit them, and you have no clue how good any of the freshman are. This is a dumb statement.
4. Yea, they are. If Dooley were still here we would have lost the game yesterday.

Your opinion, that's fair but overall a horrible assessment of the situation at hand...just my opinion.

Actually, though many may disagree, I think Worley's problems can be solved. He is throwing where the receiver is, but not to where he is going to be when the ball gets there. He also has issues in his throwing mechanics, mainly his left foot is too often not pointed in the direction he is trying to throw.

If he can resolved those 2 issues, Worley's level of play will help with the growing list of offensive issues the Vols have. It won't change his lack of mobility, but if opponents have to respect his passes more, it might not be as glaring as it is now.

Agree with #4 Dooley would have let South Alabama tie the game, and try to win in overtime.

Its just going to take time. anybody who thought CBJ could walk in and fix this mess overnight was mistaken. Saban or Meyer nor any other could fix this overnight. Give it time. ON another note could not be happier that a man could dump our team to go to his dream job gets fired on plane ride home. they should have opened door and give him the boot with no chute.

How dare you take up for Worley. Don't you understand that he causes receivers to run the wrong routes? He made Pig stop his route in the end zone on the interception. He ran off all of our good TEs and WRs. He was a DB and LB in disguise when we got torched all day by USA. He jinxed Peterman last week. He makes Smith and Croom drop TD passes. Don't you understand all of our problems will be solved if he is benched?

Taking up for him? No, not at all. Learn to read. I just identified his mistakes. And all you can do is whine and complain, and put the man down. We have seen what happened when they benched him for Peterman. You actually think Dobbs and Ferguson can do better when the coaches insist they aren't ready? That is a solution? I think Shaq said it to Kobe best.
