with H.S. All-American Bo Wallace, I think Giles County should be in the top 60. Their only set back was to high ranked Cookeville. That was only because Wallace was off his game due to the defense.

man you really think Wallace is the greatest thing since sliced bread dont ya, hes good but not as great as you think

Alcoa doesn't play any good schools. They should be playing schools at a higher level. They destroy all of the teams they play.

I saw a nationally ranked Byrnes team from South Carolina take on MBA in 2005 at Vandy Stadium. Byrnes won 62-14 and it could have been 100-0. I have watched all the great Maryville and Alcoa teams. I watched Brentwood Academy in 1995 and 1996. I saw the great Riverdale teams. I saw the Cleveland teams from 1993-1995. I saw the great Red Bank team in 2000. I saw Jefferson County in 1987. I saw Austin East in 1986. I saw a great Melrose team in 1996. None of those teams in Tennessee come close to that Byrnes team I saw that night in 2005.

Of all those, Red Bank in 2000 was probably the best. I'm sure they could have held Byrnes to under 62, and quite simply no one could tackle Gerald Riggs.
