1. UConn, Baylor, SC, MSU
2. FSU, ND, Ore St, Stanford
3. MD, Washington, Texas, Duke
4. Louisville, UCLA, NCST, DePaul

DePaul surprises me. They've gotten blown out a lot this year. It's criminal that the Baylor-TX game isn't on TV...

Where is Tennessee? We have the first pick in the womens draft and how many McDonald AA. Maybe a 6 or 7 seed?

For a brief day or two I actually thought Tennessee if they won out until the final pre tourney reveal on the 20th that they could slide in there at 16 potentially but I think that Georgia loss kills that. They would need a lot of help from a lot of others at this point I think. I would say they are probably a 6 and with any luck they can stay a 6.

does it really matter what seed they are? that's like having a car that won't hold gas and being worried about how fast it will go.

If we win the rest of our games besides ms state and get to semifinals of tournament. We can get a four or maybe a three with help based on strength of schedule and rpi but I think we stay between a 4 or 5

tn will be hard pressed to get to the 15 loss level that I predicted in the preseason but they sure are trying.... :(

I doesn't matter what seed we are...I think we can beat anyone on any given night and we can also lose to anyone on any given night, so at the end of the day we just have to show up ready to play, regardless of seed, if we want to go deep into the tourney.

"At no. 24, Tennessee is ranked for the first time since Dec. 5. Over the past two seasons Tennessee has been unranked for 13 weeks. That's one fewer than the Lady Vols had under Pat Summitt in total in her illustrious career."

:thud:

"I'm happy. My expectations are for us to win. Holly Warlick said. I never expected us to get out of the top 25 poll, never. I understand (why). My job is to get us back in and keep climbing back up. Sometimes it's an unreal expectations at times. So you just got to keep plugging away."

The team is a reflection of their coach. This is why they play inconsistently, no structure and no leadership.

What did Holly mean by "sometimes it's an unreal expectations at times"?
That comment doesn't sound right. In fact it's bothering me.

She means it is un real for ppl to expect her to be like pat summit or to do what pat did that is why you ppl are mad and confused because it will not be like that again, we will be contenders but you guys really think any coach can live up to pat standards . No coach has expect ofr tara and geno

Let's face it - anyone that followed Pat was going to be the sacrificial lamb. No one is going to live up to her legacy and the "first" to follow her is going to take the wrath of the fan base.

That said, I really think Holly is growing into a better coach - next two years, IMO, will tell the tale.

This is sad. Not only can she not coach, she can't even articulate!

I believe Holly loves the Lady Vols and is doing all she knows to do to get us back to a Final Four.

However, I don't believe she knows how to coach offense in today's game. I want her to hire an offensive whiz for an assistant. I believe that will help a ton.

But my main issue is she seems content with losing. I don't think a loss burns her like it did Pat.

Holly's job has been to comfort and protect the girls. She's a mother hen. We truly need an assistant with a "will not lose" mentality. I don't think we have anyone on staff like that.

P.S. I know some people will defend the assistants but those are my feelings.

Coach Summitt was the standard bearer for the program. It's apparent that Holly is not up to the challenge by coaching the team into 22 losses within 1 year and a half. That's a disgrace with the talent she has at her disposal.

The reality is she has been exposed. It looks as though she's at the helm for the long haul. A contract extension has her coaching until 2020 I believe.

It's been a rollercoaster ride with Holly's team. The fans are the string of Holly's yo-yo. Two steps forward 10 steps back. After each loss Holly stands outside the team's bus looking at players faces as they disembark deciding on which one she's going to throw under the bus.

Holly has no shame. Accountability is a sham to her.

Make no mistake about it.

Holly knows she ain't going nowhere. She has the Nr. 1 recruiting class coming into Knoxville.

Holly is a coach just not a good one. I believe the losses absolutely burns her up because it exposes her shortcomings. She has to face the media to explain herself. She's quite uncomfortable in doing so that's why all the tick motions of scratching her head, rubbing her eyes, fidgeting around with the mic or water bottle and repeating that the team didn't play hard after each loss.

It's cringe worthy.
