Since everything in the world of recruting is going slow at the moment. I was kinda curious to see other peoples opinions on which teams will have the best 2010 classes. Here is my order....

1.) UF
-reloading and kids just want to play for Urban.

2.) Tennessee
-Our class might not be ranked this high, but we will get the players we want for the most part.

3.) USC
-Carroll knows how to recruit plain and simple.

4.) Texas
-already have a great start but once they start rolling off wins they will pull in some good talent.

5.) Oklahoma
- Maybe not as much success as last year but classes usually result from past years success.

Possible shockers: these teams may make a run for top ten and surprise a lot of people...

-Ole Miss: if they have any scholly's left.
-Ok. State: a lot of prospects out west have interest and I think they pull off a top 5 wido out.
-USF: not saying they will but there is so much talent is south Fl. that if they win some games then they can sneak up on some people.

I don't think Tennessee will finish 2, since we will likely be signing a lot of linemen.

At the present rate, things don't look good for a top 10 finish. But things are still early.

I don't see how any projected "top recruiting class" list can leave off Saban.

Hard to tell at this point. Three teams with a shot at the top spot IMO.

1) Texas is in the pole position and looks to have a few more blue chippers in the works. If they pull 2 of Darius White, Jeffcoat or Jordan Hicks, they'll be tough to top.

2) Florida - Off to a great start. Man for man, maybe a little better than Texas. A number # 1 finish would require them to pull in some high rated recruits like Luc and McCay.

3) USC - The only school that doesn't have to flood the field with offers.

The best of the rest -

4) Alabama - Saban's track record speaks for itself.
5) Oklahoma - Already picked up a great QB prospect.
6-10) Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, UNC, Ohio St.

Note: If UT doesn't pick up some good O-Line prospects, it won't be a good class, no matter where Rivals puts you.

Yeah we are going to be number 1 in certain positions, but maybe not overall. We will probably haul in some of the best O and D linemen in the country. QB position might be top three if not no 1. We are going to be just fine. Expect in two years to be in BCS games on a yearly basis!!!!

I think we will have one of the best classes in the nation. I see a top 5 class, but it won't be ranked #1 because of the number of guys we sign. Other classes will be smaller and more targeted, thus keeping their average star higher than ours. But regardless, we're primed for a great class.

Add UCLA to the "shockers" list. IMO.

I really hope we load up on both, I don't care where we end up being ranked, let's just load the boat with big uglies.

I just think it's way too early to tell. Schools such as Florida and Texas will fill their allotment quickly and may end up in the back half of the top 10 when all is said and done. While slow starters such as UT are in the top 5 of many good prospects and could go on a tear in the fall. I do think we will be a strong closer this year with several prospects announcing to UT on signing day.

Extremely unlikely.

I always get a little too consumed into rankings, but I will be still pumped if the staff gets the class they want.
