We definitely DON'T want that target on our backs. Keeping us at #2 or #3 will help keep us from becoming overconfident and complacent. We need to stay motivated and focused on a goal, an achievement. Defending a #1 ranking is a less-inspiring goal than beating a #1-ranked team on their turf. Plus, there is less pressure on the underdog.
Why do you think this matters? This team is the number 1 team in the nation, this team isn’t going to overlook Georgia and even slightly thinking that is beyond incomprehensibleWe definitely DON'T want that target on our backs. We got no choice. It's either take the number 1 spot next week or drop out of the top 4. I'm going with #1! GBOWe definitely DON'T want that target on our backs. Totally agree. Who wants to play with that target on their back?
