Pretty spot on... In Nashville, they like to try to claim Vanderbilt and The Titans are Tennessee's team.... CLOWNS... We have huge numbers for the orange and white game and an open scrimmage... Then a sellout for the first home game and the last 5 years have been HORRIBLE... yet the Titans can't give away tickets and Vandy is lucky to fill up their JV stadium with 40k seats.... give me a break... I think we know who Tennessee's REAL team is... V.O.LS.

You can't convince me that a school that finished 19th in attendance last year is deserving of the Best Fan Base. They averaged 20,000 empty seats per game.

Never heard of For the Win. Yet another non-credible crap site.

Who's this 'they' you speak of?? I live in Nashville and have my whole life. The 'vandy is the state team' comes from and is quarantined to that campus on west end ave..
When they lost to temple, I was so excited to rub it in any vandy fan I knew. I quickly realized that I didn't know any at all.

DITTO... I have respect for some of those fans that are still around from the 80's till now... all 450 of them...thats hard core, because that would be hard to sit through... but I was sick to my stomach watching some of the bandwagon fans,who probably just moved here from Jersey or Cali,wearing all this black and gold crap... I might have some old Orange and White in the closet that I dont wear anymore I can give to them...

F****** bandwagon fans,I hate them...glad I won't have to see them anymore...at least not in YankHer Down gear

These kinds of lists are obviously jokes with little "science" behind them.

But, I have to admit I was shocked watching our fans at the USC game last year. Saw not one soul leave during the game and most stayed long after to celebrate. Was blown away. I think the fans are hungry here now.

A big difference in attitude from the spoiled group we were in 90s and early 00s.

I was all over Nashville and especially on West End and Brentwood/Cool Springs this weekend and didn't run into a single Vandy fan out of the several folks I tried to talk football to.

I did however run into four Candy Fans ... they wuz a bunch of angry birds I'll tell ya!
