I could see the pollsters ranking Michigan 2nd, simply because they had only one loss. Beyond that, all kinds of defensible arguments could be advanced for where you rank the Big Orange, Tidy Bowl boys, OSU and TCU. They probably won't rank us ahead of 'bama but should, given our victory in head-to-head competition and our crushing road victory over LSU, who narrowly defeated the Crimson Tide.

However, having offered no competition whatsoever to Georgia and losing by 58 points, TCU must fall bigtime in the polls. The argument that they made it to the National Championship game is absolutely meaningless in this case.

Ohio State and Michigan will both probably be ranked ahead of us. Alabama too. Doesnt matter tho cause we all saw that 52-49. End of the season ranking beyond #1 is just as worthless as a pre-season one.

Probably depends on the schedule. Do they get to play Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Missouri?
