Got into this discussion at work today.
Name your top ten sitcoms of all time. Not necessarily what you think their success ranking would be, just rank in order of your favorite.



1. Arrested Development
2. Seinfeld
3. Scrubs
4. Friends
5. Cheers
6. King of the Hill
7. The Andy Griffith Show
8. Family Guy
9. The Cosby Show
10. Fresh Prince of Bel Air

About the only five I can think of that I really liked

Edit: after seeing the OP list throw in Fresh Prince and Andy Griffith too

Friends, Seinfeld, and Fresh Prince would have to be on the list. Big Bang Theory is quickly moving up the list. The Office would be on my list. Although the last two seasons of the Office are hurting it's legacy.

Edit: What about The Simpson's? Would it be considered a sit-com?

Sure.
If The Office would have gone away after season four, I would have put it way up the list. The past few years have made it so I don't even watch anymore.

I would give the Office up till SC left. After he left the show isn't the same at all. I will admit some of the later seasons with him in it are a little stale but still funny and fun to watch.

If the Simpsons count then they would have to be up towards the top of my list. I have always been a big Simpsons fan.
