The criticism of the way Dave Hart handled the head coaching search is entirely without merit. Perhaps disappointment over a most unlikely Gruden scenerio and a bad decision by Strong is clouding some fans' perspective.

The bottom line was this. If we are basing this on success as a head coach, the top two hires in college football this post season were made by Tennessee and Arkansas with little chance of a more qualified coach accepting a job anywhere else this year.

Will Jones and/or Bielema pan out? Who knows? But, I would say the odds of seeing a Tennessee-Arkansas SEC championship game sometime in the near future just went up.

At first Hog fans were 'meh' about Bielema. Now we are pumped - he won the press conference.

I'm sure Saban, Miles, Richt and Muschamp are looking forward to continuing their winning streaks against us.

Replace Miles with Spurrier (since we don't play LSU in 2013) and I'll net Jones beats at least one of those next year.
