It was cool at first. Now, rates have gotten so high it's just cheaper to just go play 18.

Yeah. I'm thinking they almost have to.

Certainly, the heaviest concentrations of golfers and courses (Fox Den, TN Natl, Willow, Avalon, Wind River, Tellico (x3), Rarity...) are out this way. I'm not sure what crowd TopGolf is after, though.

People with money.

Where can you play, that’s decent for $25?
Where do you play at 10 pm?
You never go to the driving range?

Maybe that's my issue. I'm in the land of plenty as far as golf courses go. There are quite a few I can play for that or less 8 to 9 months a year. As far as the range, I typically go to a facility with grass instead of mats.

I get the attraction and have been to Top Golf numerous times. The one in Vegas is pretty cool. But the evening rate plus the extras makes the novelty wear off quickly. The prices do vary from location to location. A weekend night in Tampa is $45 an hour as opposed to $75-90 in Vegas.
