Just received a tornado alert text for my area.
I usually ignore them but after going outside, I am taking shelter in an interior bathroom.

Appreciate it. Fortunately, all went well.
There was torrential rain and wind for about 1/2 hour. Abrupt end and the sun came out.
Florida weather can be so extreme.

Black as night at noon by Tampa Palms today. It was beautiful when left the house at 7:30 this am.

Didn’t mean it in a way that you should stay away. Just pointing out that it’s always wonderful here and unfortunately when guests come they seem to choose a time when it’s not. Sorry, I realize it came off rude.

My daughter just moved back to Tampa. She got stuck at work, on high alert, in 2018ish. "Michael?" Who in the world but Floridians would build a hospital on an island? The winds and water those storms rev up are horrific.
