They really have a thing for us.

I guess that's what happens when you're the winningest program in the conference for the last 15 years.

I guess that's what happens when you own their butts over the long haul.

I guess that's what happens when you have to come from behind in the fourth to beat a team ranked somewhere near 80.

I guess that's what happens when you're yellow enough to make fun of a coaches size, but praise your offensive linemen who are built just like him.

I guess that's what happens when you're an inbred cajun.

oops ....

Man, to be a non-rival, they really hate us. LOL

Of course, when a school owns a 19-5-3 record over you, I guess it's understandable. But it's not like we play often.

The best way to shut them up is to fly in :bottom: fly back as if nothing happened...

I can stand any of it but the personal remarks about someon's size.

God made us all differently and it takes really low class individual to make fun of someone's size. Size is not all about food. It is about metabolism, ability to exercise, chemical make-up and any number of things.

They praise their overweight linemen, and make fun of our former lineman/coach.

That's the height of hypocrisy.

So, if anyone gets pissed about the inbred remark, they can kiss my :moon2:

How many SEC titles has that gotten you? Same amount as LSU if I'm not mistaken.

Right, because we wouldn't want to mention that LSU and Tennesse have met only three times in the past 10+ years with LSU taking 2 of 3.

I'm confused. Are we talking about LSU's win over nationally-ranked Arizona State on the road....or Tennessee's nail-biter win over nationally-unknown UAB at home?

There's a difference between muscle and fat. If LSU's O-line had the build of Fulmer, they wouldn't be able to block anyone.

I do belive it goes that's why all the folks on Rocky Top GET their corn from a jar. And if I need to explain to you that means we drink alcohol made from corn or moonshine. :moon2:

I believe the post was referring to the last 15 years. Tennessee owns a 3-2 record over LSU in the last 15 years.

You guys win the history discussion, can't argue with facts printed in black & white in the record books. So let's talk about what's happening now and most recently.

1. LSU is #3, UT is #10
2. LSU won the last meeting (the one in Atlanta), without starting QB & tailback
3. LSU is 1-0, 35 points in 1 game
4. UT is 1-1, 24 points in 2 games
5. UT gets the Defensive nod with 26 points allowed in 2 games
6. LSU has allowed 31 points in 1 game

What does a UT fan have to be excited about? You have plenty to be nervous about. Whoever loses, I foresee many fans on both sides blaming the loss on the hurricane. LSU seems to be about a touchdown favorite, has that changed with the game being moved?

We are excited because we are 11-2 after a loss. If you can't get up for your team even when they are underdogs - why call your self a fan at all. personally I think this is gonna goone of 2 ways

1. A very similar game to UT/UF - low scoring ,sloppy offense on both sides
2. A high scoring game on both sides - similar to the LSU/ASU game

personally I am hoping for the second - should be good fun - even though we have to wait a couple extra days to do it!!!

Just like BCS predictions this early in the season, its way too early to start basing your winner on rankings and stats. If you do, then you'll be disappointed come Monday night, 'cause the Vols have looked like **** the first 2 games and anything less than an LSU blowout will be disappointing to you. However, I know the game will be close and come down to the 4th quarter. It will be a good game. As underdogs on the road, the Vols should win this one. Tennessee doesn't lose two-in-a-row very much.

Win or lose, I'm excited about this game being over with. I'm tired of everyone calling each other crybabies. Can't we just meet in Atlanta and play the stupid game and get it over with? :boredom:
