The entire team and coaching staff shares this one.

It's my opinion that whatever success Dobbs had early has been removed through scouting reports. Our coaches have to figure out what he can do and make their own adjustments. I wonder what would've happened had we ran a play action pass on the pivotal 3rd and 1. That's what is so crazy. We go start passing in FG range and go backwards...it led to the 4th and 19 fake FG. Yet we won't run a 5 yard pass when the defense is selling out. A 1st down may win the game.

What is also clear is that he gets very little help from the other 10 players. Dropped passes, silly penalties, and blown assignments cannot be overcome by this offense.

Our defense played ok, as we turned over Vandy 4 times. They only had 8 ints and 2 fumbles lost in their 1st 10 games. But we still committed some silly penalties and could not make the play when we needed it. But after what Auburn did, there was some improvement.

Pride is the only thing to play for. Let's see how motivated they are next week. I'll be sitting behind the UT bench, so it should be easy to spot.

I love this team, and I've been a fan for 38 years . . . but this loss killed me. We aren't likely to beat Kentucky. I used to get on the fans for not being fired up in the tough times, but wow . . . we need something to get excited about. Finding new ways to fold in the clutch isn't exactly going to draw a crowd.

It's hard being a Tennessee fan right now Chad. The only positive right now is our current committed recruiting class.

I'll be back for more punishment next season, but I don't see us winning more than 4 or 5 games again. Not sure when we'll have another winning season.

You have to reach the bottom before you can climb back to the top...and brother we are scraping our knuckles on the ground floor right now!

I am and will remain a Vol fan.
I am disappointed in a coach that was hired to satisfy fan cries for an action oriented offense that put up 10 whole points on Vandy.
I am disappointed in a team that has not progressed enough during the season.
I am excited about the prospects of some outstanding recruits wearing orange next year.
I am concerned that some of those prospects will be playing key roles as freshmen.
I am sad that the commode doors won two in a row against the Vols.
I'm sick of the blame game that seems to permeate everything today. Quit worrying about who to find guilty and instead fix the problems!
I will have my butt in Neyland again next year (I hope!) and will still wear my orange. I don't want to leave in shame again!!!

I'm going to add one thing.

This season went down hill when Worley got injured. The offense was terrible after this. I'm not trying to hate on Dobbs but remember he was the 4th string QB when the season started.

I can't count how many times since 2005 I thought we had hit bottom.

The offense was pretty bad when Worley was healthy.

-we saw last night why few coaches want to play freshman qb's
-coaching hasn't been good
-we aren't good and I'm amazed people are still amazed
-many of our players still look tentative/scared/don't know how to win
-fake fg reaction has been an overreaction
-Dobbs' hands looked frozen solid. He looked cold as hell. Don't know why they didn't try a glove.
-Tiny has had a bad year.
-I look out there at Smith dropping another pass, Jacob Carter trying to get open, Toney being picked on, Probst trailing a slot wr on the last drive, Swafford giving up the middle, and Max Arnold back there running a 4.7 when we have to stop Vandy to save our season. As poor as the coaching has been at times, I have to see some players first before writing people off.

We had a bye week before this game and Josh Dobbs has been or QB since the second half of the Bama game. He has gone backwards since then. I don't understand why we could not add some additional passing plays he was comfortable with in three weeks. He definitely looked worse in this game than he did in the 2nd half of the Bama game.

Even though our OL is underwhelming at times, our route running has not progressed and we aren't doing anything to help our young QB. Our throws to the flat are predictable. We don't roll the pocket to allow for quick reads. We don't run quick slants (Peyton lived off of quick slants) or short/mid curls, we don't use the TE at all. Smith must have pictures of our coaches loving on goats or something, I don't understand why he is still playing right now. Are our other WR's that bad?

Our defense has no depth and we are short on speed, all in all, considering the bad spots our offense but them in, I think they played well last night.

I'm not sure what happened to Palardy. I was happy to see he'd finally found his groove, but last night the Palardy of old reared his head and that was bad news for us since he is the only kicker we use in the kicking game.

Personnel does matter, but good coaches should be able to mix and match and be competitive against teams like Vandy, this one is on the coaches and it hurt. It was bad for the seniors but worse for those coming back because you don't get those much needed extra practices for the bowl game. They should finish off KY and try to keep as many recruits in the fold as possible to get ready for 2014. Go Vols!

Spot. On. 100% on the coaches. Nice job.

Jacob Carter, another WR with great hands. He was returning punts and has great hands. Why not let him catch passes during games. He had a great catch at the end of the Candy Game. :clapping:
