I know it's popular to gripe that Bama gets all the calls. But I challenge anyone to find more baffling calls than Auburn gets year in and year out. And it's crap that gets reviewed and STILL isn't corrected. I mean, how often do you see a team have to punt on third down? But Penn State was playing Auburn and an SEC crew, so it happened.

Clearly that was an incomplete pass and the ruling on the field should have been overturned. I've always hated replay rulings and never believe college football should have gone there. It slows down the tempo of the game and is a momentum killer. Officials are going to miss calls. But to waste time reviewing it and still get it wrong? Inexcusable.

Hard to disagree with this after all their crazy wins from last year.

Those refs were dirty. Too many fans live in this fantasy world where they think refs are wholly incompetent creatures, incapable of calling a fair game. It's ok to call a spade a spade. Major sports are riddled with dirty refs.

I could see this argument. But thinking that SEC refs are intentionally skewing games gives them credit for competency that I just can't bring myself to believe.
