There is no way a coach should be taking home 3 timeouts in that type of game. During A&M's big run in the middle of the half would've been a nice time to have used one and inexcusable not to use one after the 3 at the end. Seemed like a great chance to run a play to get it past half court then call another TO still with over 3.5 secs at minimum to run a halfcourt set for a decent 2 point shot. Terrible decision by Counzo to let em run wildly up the court and heave a desperation 3.

Also thought McRae should've called one instead of trying to force his way out of an excellent double team and turning it over on a hooking foul.

Maymon played very well tonight. To have to go home with those 2 misses at the end will hurt badly. One make out of 2 and its OT at the worst.

I actually believe the team got complacent early in the second half and by the time they woke up later A&M had already revived their selves.

I am not a Counzo fan, but I support him because he is the coach. But there are some things he could've did and didn't do that I don't like. He should've had someone in 23's hip pocket that second half after he started tearing it up. If he went to the bathroom someone in orange should've been escorting him. If Counzo has any type of lead of seemingly any size late, he goes into the equivalent of Fulmer mode in football and tries to milk the clock, usually causing a very contested shot at the end of the shot clock and us not scoring. Just run the offense and try to score! I can see it if we are up big, but not 4-5 points with 2 minutes to go.

And he doesn't seem to defend the players on bad calls to the refs, or fight for fairness. He just let those touch fouls and moving screens get called on us it seemed all game without as much as a word to the officials. I rarely ever see him talking at one period. I'm not saying he needs to go all Calipari on them, but at least try to get a couple to go the other way.

I hope we make the tourney, but doesn't seem likely. Team is too inconsistent under Martin.

OK, I am done venting. Good night VN

In the final minutes, I actually thought they didn't do enough to milk the clock. Too many early shots while we had the lead. Only Richardson's went in.

What killed me was when they were calling of those offensive fouls on us in 2nd half and Cuonzo just stood over there and didn't say anything to the refs. If they'd called that crap when Pearl when he was here he would have put a stop to that nonsense.

CCM has NEVER had a technical foul called on him in his entire coaching career. Refs are obviously not intimidated by him and he will never get any calls.

To have such a talented team, Martin does not seem to have the ability to get the most out of the players. Also, clock management isn't in Martin's capabilities either; his leaving three time-outs on the table during the second half is inexcusable.

Something needs to shake this program up, whether it is a stern conversation with Martin or Martin and his entire staff, to get over this hump.

I support this program and I support the players . . . I just find it hard to accept this lazy sloppy play!

It seems like we have to rush the shot as the clock runs down. I would rather work the play to get an open shot and take the good shot.

Players must be accountable for their lack attention to the game. How can a 5th year senior miss two free throws with 17 seconds left on the clock with only a two point lead? Coaches can shoot for these guys.

Defending players and getting in the refs face is part of the job, Martin is inept at this. When you get on the refs you change the mindset some and fire players up. Martin couldn't light a fire with a butane lighter and it cost us almost every game with bad calls. We might as well have played this game in Texas they we getting the better of the calls absolutely.
