but on the bright side, you've got a couple of good QB's and the coaching staff has turned things around. Y'all should get a good bowl and a nice jump start to next year. Plus Arky has turned out to be much better than we all expected.

From a lifelong Razorback fan - it was great to have you in our house. It was an outstanding atmosphere all week with ESPN Gameday in town and the crowd Saturday night was electric. Those of you who make the trip helped with that too! There was one guy who is a Vols fan on our shuttle back to the parking lot who was very kind and humble and thanked the Hog fans for being kind to him after the game. See you next year and I hope the outcome is the same for the Hogs, but who knows - right? Keep your heads up and play on ...

You're right...I guess I should have made that clear. I enjoy all SEC games though and watched the Arky/Tenn game. It seems a lot of Vols are unhappy with CPF but I think the coaching staff has made a remarkable turn around from last year. It could be a lot worse...just look at us here in Bama...LOL

I agree HIGHTIDE. I think UT has done a great job at turning things around. If Ainge is healthy who knows what happens. Keep your head up guys, you could be on an emotional roller coast like us DAWG fans.

Thanks to the Bama and UGA fans, and the Ark fans, it has been pleasant for the most part. You know, thats one of the great things about the SEC, and really the South in general, like a big ole' family. We can beat up on each other, but in the end we got each other's backs.

Thank you guys, from tide, hog and dawg nation. But I, as a Tennessee Volunteer, keep posting those negative crap. I guarantee I will only praise our coach fulmer and his staff, and predict the bright future of UT in the next 24 hours. :)

Crap, I have been trying to stay upbeat & focus on the positives of this season & not get caught up in all the negative posts about our coach(es). But now we have opposing teams fans telling us how great our coach is....hmmm, not that it happened, but would this be like us - back in the day - telling GA fans they should keep Donnan???!!!!

Unlike last year, the Vols have been beaten by three very good football teams. While you play with what you have, there are significant "What ifs" on the last two.

Crompton is a great talent but he wasn't gelled into the offensive flow like Ainge. You have to wonder what Ainge or a more experienced Crompton might have meant in either game.

As for those who are crying "the sky is falling", get over it. Good grief. The Vols just faced the most talented team in the SEC and a team that has outperformed every expectation to include beating Auburn... with an inexperienced back up QB.

What do you really expect?

For the Fulmer haters, who specifically do you realistically believe the Vols could get that would do better?

Be careful for what you ask for... you just might get it.
