Still a great effort that would’ve beaten most teams. Let’s get em back tomorrow and settle the series on Sunday.

They most definitely will not pack it in. It was going to be an uphill battle winning this series from the start. Arkansas is loaded with talent. As long as we win 1 game in this series, we’re fine. It’s not ideal, we all want to take the series, but the goal right now is to secure the Super Regional hosting and if we win 1 this weekend and take the series against USC we’ll get it.

I’m thinking the opposite. They showed what they’ve been showing all year. They can play with anyone. I’d think this would fire them up, probably with a little bit of being pissed at the missed opportunity, and have them laser focused today. I get what you mean but we’re not there yet imo.

They made four plays in particular that are highlite plays. You are right. They are number one for a reason but those 4 plays were rare. The lay out by centerfielder was maybe the most parallel to the ground layout catch I've ever seen (and I've been watching baseball for 55 years. ) I doubt the Vols will lay down. Not to say we can win the series but I'd be surprised if we just thrown in the proverbial towel.
