Auburn fans were crowing about how TN was trying to screw Gabe Wright by not telling him Chuck Smith was leaving. Now Rocker leaves lol.

As much as I despise Auburn and every other SEC team for that matter outside of the Vols, I doubt AU knew that Rocker would be gone. This is a step up for Rocker. I'm pretty sure Chuck Smith's departure has been in the works well before NSD.

Rocker's pretty much was too. Fisher was planning on going after him since Washburn left, but was going to wait until after NSD to protect Auburn's recruiting class. Smith's departure was just the one Wright heard about.
