Who knew you could do it? Reports have it that Ozzy Guillen will be traded to Florida.... What the heck? How does this work??

Didn't Charlie Finley pull something like this back in the day?

I would assume it's just like any other trade. All they're doing is moving contracts around.

Is this serious? What are they trading him for? A manager to be named later? A draft pick?

I don't know.. As a Braves fan it's comical to me that they think he is better than anyone else they've had lately..

Ozzie would be a great manager for them.
White Sox fans are wore out of him. Not sure why..

I didn't know if the rule applied to all sports but the Raiders traded Jon Gruden to the Bucs. For like two 1st round picks or something

Anyone under contract can be traded. Most have to have approval from Commissioner's Office, though.

Revenue. They aren't competing anytime soon. Ozzie gives them a chance to fill the new stadium and in the mean time build for the future. Not sure about Morrison's contract, but I'm certain Ozzie is a better long term solution.

Having said that ....he was bound to burn his way out of town.

I would have preferred Ozzie to Florida for the 100 or so Marlins fans going to Chicago. Then just blow the team up.
