trae Golden improved but lacks quickness

Trae Golden has worked hard. He has transformed his body. He has lost about 15 lbs. He is a good shooter. He is a pretty good ball handler. But he lacks quickness. When he tries to guard quick point guards or when quick point guard defend him, his lack of quickness is exposed. I do not blaime him, he is doing his best. Hope that wes continues to develop so we can play both at the same time when we face a real quick team like tonight. I like the Trae plays heard and gives his all for the Vols!!!

Agree with what you said. He is not going to become "quick" all of a sudden. He does seem to coast on defense a little too often though. Washpun is a much better defender. I would like to see Washpun play point and Golden move to shooting guard.

Agreed.
Washpun seems to be the complete opposite. He shows great quickness and defensive intensity, but has shown little offensive ability, and obviously, he lacks experience. Still, I'd like to see him get more minutes in a lineup that takes off some of the scoring pressure.
