Even though he played 10 mins and didn't score, I think this was one of his better games. Except for his one dumb pass he had. He had 3 assists to 1 TO. I think he may be turning it around just a little bit. He had looked like was going to fast out there and rushing things a little too much. I'm hoping that he is able to turn it around, because if not that will give us Jones and McBrick at point:cray:

I thought Goins had a very good game as well as Stephen Pearl. For once someone other than Scotty and Harris step up.

I see Trae Golden and Chris Jones playing at the same time. it seems like golden is a 2 at heart but the roster is very full. Trae will be the backup point and shooting forward next year.

If Trae has any pro aspirations, he has to stay at point.

Actually, it's what he's done all year. (Go look at the game-by-game stats on espn.) Starting with the USC game he had no more than 1 turnover for the next 13 games. Then, he had three "bad" games in a row (although the first one was 3 assists/ 2 turnovers -- same a/to ratio as Goins' has for the season -- against Alabama) and was benched for 2 games, which was absolutely preposterous.

[sorry...posted an unfinished message...]

I never thought Golden's play was a problem on this team, and still stand by this

I really think that he can become a really great PG for us. It just seems like he has "it" out there.

But doesn't part of this have to do with Pearls offense? Correct me if I'm wrong but he wants his PG's to score and Golden sure hasn't done that all year
