Bray, Milton and Fugate were already Vols due to practicing with the team for bowl prep. Now all the guys that enrolled already are locked in as of midnight this morning and normal transfer rules apply. This applies to

Ja'Wuan James
Ted Meline
Jacques Smith
Corey Miller

They would have to appeal to the NCAA and win to get a waiver not to have to sit out a year after transferring to a new school.

Brandon Willis is not enrolled according to UT's database.

One would think that the NCAA would grant a transfer waiver in this situation.

Then again, the NCAA is made up of a slew of douchebags...so maybe not.

I heard that Thompkins is gone.. Wouldn't that cost him even more eligibility?

If mid termers were on campus at 12:01 am they can't leave with out NCAA punishment per Ut regs and Hamilton

James was at the riot which was past midnight and people said he was taking off. I assume he did not know about this. He'll have to get a waiver or sit out if he still wants to leave.

So many rumors out there, what is the truth? This really blows.

Thompkins, as a JC player, signed a LOI. He would be subject to the one year transfer and cannot even apply for a waiver. A LOI is much different than this situation.
