In Kiffin's interview he mentioned that he has been contacted by players who want to transfer. He didnt mention anyone specificly. Does anyone have any idea who it might be?

My guess: EJ Abrams Ward (because of the possibility of Marlon Brown hopping him)
maybe Tauren Poole (Oku and Williams coming in and we are deep at RB)


(although for the record, I am excited about these two players and hope they stay!)

The only players I see transferring in are DTs or QBs, and even then that doesn't seem likely, they'd have to wait a full year just to be buried on the depth chart with Kiffin's own players. It seems more probable he was referring about players leaving.

I stand corrected. I wonder who, then...seems kind of odd. Could be a Brandon Warren/Tyler Smith kind of situation.

I just watched the interview again. He was definitely talking about transfers coming in. It does seem like he was talking about a QB not 100% sure on that though.

I think it would have to be Pat Devlin(Penn St.), Aaron Corp(USC), or Robert Marve(Miami). All highly rated out of high school, all looking to transfer.

When he was talking about transfers he was answering a question about QB's so I would think he would mean transfers in. But, if any of out three want to transfer out SEE YA!

that's absolutely the three I was wondering about. Corp was the highest rated I think, but Devlin would be the "best fit" for the "system". Marve wouldn't be a bad pick up either. This might have been why Boyd was told bluntly that he wouldn't "fit". If this does come to fruition we will have a pretty good situation going at qb in my opinion.:peace2:

Kiffin meant transfers wantint to come to UT, i believe.

what about hazelton? corp seems unlikely. i'd wouldn't be surpised in the slightest if he vaulted over mustain next year.

Neither Mustain or Corp are going to be happy that Barkley is enrolling early which will mean more shared time under center.

Hazelton maybe but the question was asked about QBs and he said he had good ones here already, had talked to some top QBs and had been contacted by some who were looking to transfer. So that leads me to believe hes 100% talking about QBs. Corp is a good one and if im not mistaken hes the son of a coach and looked damn good at the AA Game.

I didn't mean to imply who would start over who, but there is a log jam to be shared amongst 3 players and why would Mustain go pro? He still has 2 years eligibility.
