I say just screw it. Its just a game guys. So the team we root for lost. Big freaking deal. At least we got to enjoy the game by sitting in front of our t.v. with our friends and family. Yes we lost. But it could always be worse. I got to enjoy the game with my dad and my little brothers and even though Tennessee lost we all know there is a tommorrow. Just be glad we are blessed to watch our beloved vols go out there day in and day out and play there butts off for us. I say hell of a game and lets just not worry about it. We lost to a top 5 team. A hell of a good team. Lets not kill ourselves and call for peoples jobs. Enjoy what you have cause you might not have it for much longer................

Exactly. You know, despite a lot of errors and bad breaks, UT was in the game well into the 4th quarter against a Top 5 team on the road in game two of the season. No one cares about moral victories, and hey, I'm not giving this one back!! Still, its just a game and it was a fun one to watch and in the end, for us, it is just entertainment.

And this is where I give Meyer a lot of credit. In the first series, you blitzed corners twice and nailed Leak. On thje first play of the second series, a change was made and when Leak saw the corner coming, he threw a short pass in the flat to Wynn. A nice adjustment by Meyer and the rest of the O-staff.

Shouldn't Leak have already known that though. You throw to where the blitz is coming from if available. Isn't that learned in QB 101?

Not trying to take anything away from anything but you're right, it was the right adjustment.

I would expect roughly what is happening to happen.

USC dropping 42 points in the first half against the Hogs.

I am not sure what that was about. That does not seem like either Meyer or Leak. I wouldn't be mad -- I think the players by and large respected each other tonight and I don't see a running up the score situation there.

He should and I am sure if you sat down with him over some game film he'd tell you that's his plan. But try doing that when one of those UT corners is coming at you full speed!! First reaction is tuck the ball and take the hit.

Yeah I know. I was just kinda shocked. I really dont care that we lost cause I have been picking UF all week in everything. i kinda figured it would happen even though I didn't want tennessee to lose. But I do expect us to kick LSU to the ground.
