Well it's really more of a drinking question. I'm coming from Memphis and since it is a noon game I was wondering what bars open up early or where is the best place to tailgate?

Me and my pops are taking a cab and I used to tailgate with my friends that were students but that was years ago. Suggestions from the Vol faithful?

The Tin Roof is a great place, or was. I haven't been there for a while. If it's still around go there. Right on the strip and the talent is outstanding.

Most of your bars and restaurants outside of the Strip(Cumberland Ave) don't open until 11am.

All of these places are on Cumberland Ave.:
Half Barrel 9am
Tin Roof 9am
Mellow Mushroom 10am
Goal Post Tavern 9am

Suggested itinerary for early games - breakfast at Cracker Barrel - 8 am,Tin Roof - 9 am (couple of Long Island Teas because we do not have time to mess around), liquor store - 11am then get a fountain drink at Jimmy Johns for mixing, walk to the game.
