Is Trent Green really that injury prone? I know he go the concussion last season and he was injured the season Kurt Warner broke out. Those are the only two I can recall. I really don't think this is a bad move. Green isn't a superstar, but he is steady and doesn't make a whole lot of mistakes. If the Dolphins defense is as good as it usually is, he'll keep them in most games. I'd definitely take him over 5 turnovers a game Culpepper, or Cloe Lemon, or a draft pick from BYU.

Only reason I wouldn't consider it a "good" move is because it's a short term fix and not a long term solution. but they did draft a qb so maybe they are hoping Green can play for 2 or 3 more years so that guy can be ready.

But the good news is now Brodie Croyle is starting for KC. At least until he blows out a hip anyway.

With KC's patchwork O-Line I don't see Brodie making it through preseason. Very strong arm but everything else is as brittle as a 90 year old woman with severe osteoporosis.

Coincidentally, as others have now mentioned, the Chiefs seem to be putting all of their eggs into the basket of a QB who had 1(?) injury-free season throughout his college career.

Brodie also blew out one knee in the first game of his senior year in highschool.
