Man even though he plays for bammer, you just have to respect the guy. Just watched an interview with him on ESPN and he seems like a real good kid with a strong work ethic. Dude can bench 460lbs easily! Anyways hope he has a great year until he plays us where he will have a Bo Jack moment.

I saw it too, he said he worked out harder to get strong like the high school recruits on the ncaa video games lol

I just get the feeling he's going to have one absolutely insane game this year. Like the 300 yard range or something.

Ingram had a 246 yard game his sophomore year. Coupled with my doubt that they'll take the reins off of McCarron very early and the fact they have the best O-line in the SEC and it's possible.

I do see what you're saying, though. Saban hasn't seemed like the type to run up the score while at Alabama.

Not sure Simms wont be the starter.

Trent was stopped at 475 maxing out on the bench last year. I think they stopped him at 600 in the squats.

Are both QBs playing? Is there a QB controversy in Tuscaloosey?

Is it really breaking news that we're playing both QBs to begin the season? Saban has said since the Spring that he wants to see both QBs against live competition.

Sorry, don't follow Saban on twitter. So yes? There is a QB controversy? :birgits_giggle:

Given Sims attitude, I doubt there is much of a controversy, he would fill water bottles if that's what he thought would help the team more.

I always enjoy watching teams play two quarterbacks (when it's not Tennessee).

Both will play the first three games. We'll only have one QB beginning with the Arkansas game.
