I'll bet it chaps Lil' Hussein's ass that, he can't order charges dropped against this fool.

BAGHDAD – The Iraqi journalist who threw shoes at former President George W. Bush will face trial Feb. 19 on the original charge of assaulting a foreign leader, a judicial official said Sunday.

Muntadhar al-Zeidi, 30, who is considered a hero by many Iraqis for his protest, has been in custody since the Dec. 14 outburst at Bush's joint news conference with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

He had been due to face a trial in December on a charge of assaulting a foreign leader but his defense team won a delay as it sought to reduce the charges to simply insulting Bush.

But Bayrkdar told The Associated Press that the trial will begin on Feb. 19 and the charge of assaulting a foreign leader will stand.

The case became a focus for Iraqis and others in the Muslim world who resent the U.S. invasion and occupation. Thousands demonstrated for al-Zeidi's release and hailed his gesture, which came in the waning days of the Bush administration.

QUICK! Name one good thing Lil' Hussein has done since taking office.

"Daddy and Momma say he is good", does not count.

For the record, my mom and dad did not vote in this election. Mom didn't feel good, and Dad won't vote for a black man.

He's done some good. Closing Gitmo would be one. Of course, the achievements haven't exactly piled in yet, considering he's only been in office for 20 days.

Oh, and..........

Really? What is his plan for the remaining prisoners?

OOPS! He doesn't have one, unless he plans to turn them loose.

Oh, and..........

How would that be good????

What are you going to do with them??

BTW, there would be zero national debt without the Democrat Woodrow Wilson and Reagan had to deal with a Democrat congress throughout both his administrations.

What really needs to happen is for a president to have a line item veto on budget bills but that will never happen as long as the Democrat's have the majority and won't happen with a Republican president and a Republican majority in both houses if they don't have filibuster proof majorities.

That's just a fact of life and there won't be filibuster proof majorities for Republicans as long as the dinosaur media is in business and TV is run by liberal elites.

When they get around to a bail out for the NY Times, (aka Izvestia on the east) and the Washington Post (aka Pravda on the Potomac), my brain may just explode.

Well if Holder is planning to prosecute the previous administration what do you think his plan for the detainees is???

All this makes me wonder, do you think I could get on with the White House press corps? If so, what do you think they would do to me if I threw a flip flop at Barry????

You rekin I cud git on Oprah?? :scare:
