My soon to be ex roommate loves baseball almost as much as I do. I will miss having two MLB ballparks within such very easy driving distance and a roommate/friend who’s so willing to go to any and all baseball games.

But @VolNExile , I’m very much looking forward to all the minor league parks I’m going to be close to. The Dash, Tourists (love that park btw), Bulls, Grasshoppers, Crawdads, Knights, and whatever Kannapolis calls themselves now

I just love baseball. Being at the park, the sounds, the strategy, I watch a game almost every night on tv. Had I been able to make more money working minor league games I would’ve never quit to join the Army. Neyland is great for football, but there’s just nothing like the game of baseball for me.

I won’t pretend to know anything about MLB or anything about the ballparks, although I played softball in a church league, 😬. That’s one of the things I loved about moving, I got to know new friends, found some along the way that had the some of the same interests and probably your ex roomie will keep in touch and help you ease in. I wish you well in your transition, my friend.

Do they still run a train from Union Station to Camden? Seems like I heard they stopped doing that. It was a great way to get to the game.

I love going to minor league games.

Have mercy. I hate baseball and every thing about it.

Now that's out of the way.

A hot dog at a ballgame (football) is better than prime rib at the Ritz.

But, a crab mac and cheese hot dog anywhere is just nasty. That's something that begs for deconstruction and removal.

It’s not designed around games. I think it’s only M-F and very 7-5ish hours
