I have nothing against Trooper.. I reember a few years back when he was in the running for our OC..

Looking back, he couldn't have done much worse than clawson..

We'll never know if Clawson's offense/play calling would have worked. I am thinking it would have over time but it wasn't going to happen in it's first year. Spread has worked well for Florida, Ohio State and West Virginia. Like Tennessee, it failed at Michigan in Rich Rodriguez's first year. Takes time for the players to learn and recruit the players that fit the system. I agree Taylor couldn't have been any worse than the offense in Clawson's first year. I do believe it could have worked over time.

Clawson wasn't intense enough either way.

Guys, Prater is a Vol. I have a good feeling about it.

But Clawson went to Williams College, and spoke well... and he didn't chest bump. That makes him automatically qualified for OC.

No one should worry about AU, after they fail miserably, TN 2008 kinda fail. recruits won't touch that place with a 10 ft pole.
