I thought I saw reported Thurs or Fri that everyone on the prior staff had been released officially.

Of all the people now labeled as toxic this coaching season, this guy might be the most stained.

Saw this over at the 247 Rumor Mill....

We have confirmed that assistant head coach/wide receivers coach TrooperTaylor will not be part of new head coach Gus Malzahn's staff. He was given the news this morning.

It is unlikely anyone from the previous staff will be retained.

If we were able to keep Graham and Hinshaw and then add Martin and Taylor... Man this would be a hell of a recruiting staff.

Just seen on ESPN news that Trooper Taylor was let go from Auburn!!!!!

I would like to see him and Tee Martin on the sidelines again. CBJ said he wanted an atmosphere with TN presence in the coaching staff. There you go!!!!

I'm a VFL! I don't expect crazy championships right off the bat, but hey

" you got o play to win the game".... Herm Edwards.

Here's the link you moron!

Gus Malzahn finding coaches, recruits; former commit says he may follow Trooper Taylor | al.com

Now tell me if you think recruits would come back to TN!
Your the fan that sits in front of me at games and wonders which team has the ball!:banghead2:

Ha. You are the moron. If you want a coach that got PULLED OFF THE RECRUITING TRAIL because he was about to get in hot crap with the NCAA.

We are already in trouble. We are already dealing with penalties. And you want to bring the chest bumping, towel waving troublemaker back? There is a clear reason why he was let go. It's not because he is not a good coach, or recruiter. It's because he's trouble.

Do a tiny bit of research and you would see that's why we will never go back to him. It would be about as foolish as us going after Lane Kiffin again after what he left us in.

Get off this page. Your name says it all.... Hopeful
Hopeful you can make a cool statement.. He has been there 4 years at Auburn. The only reason why he was let go was because Malzhan wanted all the attention. I like watching coaches get into the game and pump up their team and fans instead of standing there with their hand in their a$& wondering what's for dinner.

After every great play Taylor would meet his team on he field and congragulate great defensive play... Tell me when u saw any of our defensive guys do that.... Oh wait. Because it never happened.:salute:

You have 17 posts, and you're going to tell me to get off the page?

I never said that he wasn't a good coach or not a good motivator. He is. Players like him. Sure.

But....

THAT is why you don't take him. Because you don't want your program in deeper junk than it already is. He is a danger to a program. He will not end up at Tennessee again.

This. Trooper will be a lucky fellow if he's not cited with a show cause.

We dodged a bullet the last time he was here, don't want him back.
