Spoke to a Bammer friend today who works in Montgomery. He said that the rumor down there is that Trooper has been removed off the recruiting trail. Also said he is pissed he didn't get OC. Sound familiar? Just thought I'd pass along the info.

Could it have anything to do with NCAA looking at them and he maybe doing some " gray area" stuff?

Nothing to do with this story, but im at his son's high school game right now, he's on Reuben Foster's team, Reuben is a beast....ran a TD as I typed this lol

After thinking about it, it probably does have to do with this story. Trooper probably had a lot to do with Reuben moving to Auburn.

Oh, I failed to mention the other thing that my friend told me. He said 'Trooper's guys' are at odds with 'Chizik's guys' and is causing a huge riff within the team. Also sounds familiar, eh?

Does Trooper still waive the towel, wear his hat backwards and chest bump his players? If so, it's probably difficult to take him serious as a candidate for OC with those antics.
