According to one of our RBs parents, the only thing that will move Trooper is a championship (and an upward move) or $100,000 raise for a lateral move. Apparently, he likes it at UT and is hoping for a turnaround season to spring upward in his coaching career. Trooper will likely not be around for more than another 2 or 3 years. His ambition is upward movement toward being a HC someday.
Troop is here to stay......I'm looking forard to seeing what he done with Arian Foster thsi year, last year was just a preview for him, he's going to be tough this year

I coach Toopers boy Blaise in basketball every week. He is fired up about getting back coaching wide receiviers like he had done his whole career before coming to UT. Don't worry he is not going anyhere soon.
Troop put the rumors to rest....The Inside Tenn/Scout, reported .CTT is eager to hush the rubbish.
He's all VOL and excited about his new position as WR Coach. I would imagine he has enough fire in him to eat a WR rear off, then skip over to Yancey and get in his ear hole. The practice field is going to be thin come March 2nd.
Its my opinion that he (Trooper) stays very much involved with Foster, Hardesty and Coker's development.
