I find it ironic that when Bush was President, media coverage of troops killed in both Iraq and Afghanistan received top headlines daily. The media seemed to "care" about those who died.

Now with Obama President, coverage for those deaths seems to get second billing if at all. With deaths increasing exponentially in Afghanistan, the concern that was expressed should 'in theory' carry over.

I wonder how long it takes until the mood of the media turns back again.

Not that anyone is paying much attention to the
media anymore, something like 79% of people
surveyed claimed to mistrust so-called mainstream
media these days.

Gannet stock lost ground yesterday and I love that!!!

have to agree that for the media reporting deaths doesn't fit the agenda anymore.

I guess Ramsey Clarke and International ANSWER are too busy to protest the war now. They must be down in Haiti helping with earthquake relief efforts.

I've noticed an increase in bombings in Iran targeting the Revolutionary Guards, makes you wonder...

A guy in Iraq throws a shoe at GW and he's an instant celebrity. Someone in the US tosses a book at BO and it s a blip.
