That's one thing I sure don't miss about Florida! We used to have to take extra clothes to the hospital in case of a storm. If it hit, we'd just have to live there and take care of all the patients until the water went down.

On the contrary, it is FAR from nothing.

The rains will hamper and flood wherever it hits.

Is this your first storm or have you been here down here before? Just curious! I meant nothing for us. More than likely it will stay to our east and all the rain is on the east. We will probally not get much of anything. I am actually having my little ones bday party Sat!!! Come on over, we can have a hurricane pool party!!!

Hurricanes are no joke. Living in north flordia last year I will tell you I will be happy to never see another hurricane ever again. But man do them things suck. power out for days with nothing but rain and wind can really get to you.

I've got a rain band moving over my house right now. The weather has really sucked down here the last 2 weeks.

Macon - right smack in the middle of GA. We're getting some of the outer rain bands. Nothing serious, about 1-2 inches of rain today.
