So im an idiot and scraped a buddies car port today backing out today. Stopped by and got a rough estimate today. $700. Anyone have any recommendations as far as places? Or what to do. Im OCD over this truck. That place also said 4-5 days. No dent or anything. Strictly paint

Will your insurance cover it? If so it may be cheaper to let them. My deductible is $500, which if I were you, would leave them paying the other $200.

Price and time sounds about right. They could do it in one to two days if you were their only customer.

I'd get a couple more opinions honestly. I wouldn't necessarily recommend involving your car insurance company for something so minor. That technique could backfire and raise your premiums costing you more in the long run. It's hard to tell how deep those scratches are with one photo but you might give some polishing compound a try, Turtle Wax is a common brand. Used carefully this might minimize the look of the damage.

Forget all that, use WD40!
