This is my list of players you can expect to show up most of the time.

Vescovi
Chandler

Chandler probably got the first taste, of many, of an opponent using a scouting report and targeting his weaknesses. He’ll grow from this but I compare this to a freshman QB roasting two mid majors & playing a Nick Saban defense in game 3.

Kennedy will be fine. Some of our fan base may not recover thou

Disappointing part was the numerous experienced players that just never showed up. Not good at all

I’m waiting on Rick Barnes to out coach somebody
Not doubt he got schooled today, but your dramatic BS after every loss gives zero credence to even your occasional legit argument. You just don't like Barnes and take any opportunity to drag him. We get it.

No one will argue that he didn't get outclassed, today, but predictably, you'll make it all about him as if any and everyone was trying to make that argument. Acting like he never outcoaches anyone is ignorant.

I'm not talking about today. I'm talking being able to carry the team. Those two are the only ones I trust against good teams.

I guess I’m tired of paying filet prices ( $5M/ yr) for sirloin results ( Oregon St. In first round last March) . We are not getting our money’s worth and I have always felt CRB took this job to pad his retirement account. He is quite the salesman. I guess UCLA is happy?

He’s made us nationally relevant in a sport we are usually afterthoughts. We wouldn’t have gotten Chandler without him. He’s winning a lot more than he loses. If we were Duke or UK you’d have a point, however, we are not Duke or UK.

Let’s be relevant when it matters, in March and then I’ll agree with you

And they’ll never be when today is acceptable. So let’s stop with the hype & expectations.

TN isn’t in the top 25 more than half the time. I’m pretty happy with where we are right now. Only 2 teams have ever been #1. Need to build a base of success… Elite 8s and Final 4s aren’t that simple when you’re one of 325+ schools are don’t have a blue blood card to play.

We got punched in the mouth and turned and went the other way. Maybe we will grow from this but we had so many no shows today.

True. But, just as importantly as folks showing up is leadership and identity. When Chandler not driving the basket or Vescovi shooting, everyone else may as well have had popcorn. Think something off w/ Fulk...don't think he was 100% today...he's usually arms and elbows with alot of activity down low. He was non existent and low energy (compared to normal). For all that JJJ talked at end of last season, sure was disappointing to see his shot selection...

Once again, his salary is irrelevant, to me. I don't pay it and neither do you. Not sure why you care except that you believe it gives your argument a false sense of support. That argument is thinly-veiled. You felt he was overpaid when he made $2.5 million or $4 million, too, because you simply don't like him.

Helluva retirement exit strategy he's got, though, coaching an additional 7 years (and counting).

it has nothing to do with “ liking” him or not liking him. Sorry but when you’re one of the top 5 paid professionals In your industry, no matter what it is, you are expected to deliver results. Maybe CRB will coach better in March this year than he does in November-February which would be opposite of what he does historically.

Waiting on James to breakout.
Just the same thing we have seen for 3 years now. 2 points in 27 minutes would typically get a player a seat next to the coach. However, we all know what’s going to happen, JJJ will go for 20 points and 9 rebounds once in the next few games and solidify his starting spot so he can disappear in the following 4 Games
