Likely, UT is a shoo-in for the Outback.

A South Carolina newspaper reported that USC has been invited to the Liberty.

Georgia has been looked at long and hard for the Chick-Fil-A. However, Georgia Tech's loss in the ACC championship could possibly put them in the Chick-Fil-A. Will they really sell tickets to see that game re-played? Or would they bump Kentucky up for that?

Doubtful, because talk is that Kentucky goes to the Music City Bowl.

Georgia Tech's loss means that the Gator Bowl HAS to invite Georgia Tech as long as the Chik-Fil-A picks Virginia Tech, which is certainly their prefference.

UT will go Capitol One if Florida wins tonight.

Georgia is all about the Chik-Fil-A.

Kentucky's best shot is a Music City Bowl Invite.

Where do you think that Arkansas would go?

Originally, Cotton.

After tonight..... there is a chance the Cap One takes them and we fall to the Outback.

I'm just going on what Mike had said, and that is, if Florida wins he has been told we are Capitol One bound.

I think Arky goes to Cotton, Cap has first pick over Cotton, but only for an Eastern Division team I believe.

UF-BCS
LSU-BCS
UT-Capital One
Auburn-Outback
Arky-Cotton
UGA-Chik Fil A
UK-Music City
USC-Independence

UT, Arky, and Auburn could all be switched. UK and USC could.

Capitol One does choose first, but they aren't required to take an EAST team. Infact, they usually take the SEC CG loser.

I think Alabama goes Independance and USC goes Liberty.

Spurrier factor could get USC in Music City and UK in Liberty though.

Yeah, but like I said, I think there is an arrangement where the Cotton can veto that pick if they want if it is a Western division team that the Cap chooses.

I completely forgot about the Liberty because of the LSU getting a 2nd BCS bid. UT, Arky, and Aubby will have the Cap One, Outback, and Cotton bowls in no particular order while UK, USC, and UA take the Independence, Liberty, and Music City bowls.

Cotton would probably prefer 2 loss Auburn instead of 3 loss Arkansas, and would allow the Capitol One to have Arkansas.

Maybe not with how bad Auburn has been playing lately. Arky also slaughtered Auburn and their 3rd loss was against USC(which obviously will not hurt them). Auburn's fan support in the search for a bowl game has also not been as strong as Arky's, though I'm sure Arky fans were thinking bigger.
