He will be lucky to walk again.
Bo Jackson NFL career ended from hip fracture/dislocation that lead to avascular necrosis. Tua only has the first part. Hope he can avoid AVN. College season over and NFL status affected but let's not say career over yet. Fingers crossed.

Saban explicitly contradicted this.
First off.. I hate this for the young man. As a Bama fan, I'd be a little upset about him still being in the game. But I get that too - Style points.. Beauty contest for the committee. I speculate that if Bama had beaten LSU, this wouldn't have happened. Of course that can't be proven, but connect the dots.
I didn't even watch. That came directly from a neighbor that is a booster. That said, per espn "We can second-guess ourselves all we want," Saban said. "We told Mac to warm up. We were going to go two-minute before the half, and Tua wanted to go in the game. So I don't really make a lot of decisions about guys getting hurt. ."
I'm not sure how you interpret that as an explicit contradiction.
CBJ really does seem to have a cloud of bad luck that follows him. I’m sure he wants a ring so bad at Bama he can taste it so he can flaunt it around like he is really a NC coach.
I legit feel bad for Tua, he is a good kid, and I don’t wish injury on anybody...but I must admit the karma of the injury bug here while CBJ was coach now following him to Bama is a little sweet.

Tua fractured a part of his pelvis bone where the socket of the femur bone comes in. No ligaments involved. Serious injury.man. I hate to see that for Tua (for any kid). I hope he makes a full recovery.
- I have to wonder if he has some sort of genetic tendency for ligaments allow more movement in his joints? Am I correct in thinking that this is (3) joint/ligament related injuries now?
Whether they are related or not, does the feeling that this might be a thing for him hurt his NFL prospects?
woah. dang. - thanks for the info.Tua fractured a part of his pelvis bone where the socket of the femur bone comes in. No ligaments involved. Serious injury.
