Tua Injured against MSU

Bama sources report that Tua is being flown to Houston for specialists to surgically repair his hip.injury.

They didn't say specifically what is involved, but it's possible he's getting an artificial hip, vascular repair, bone chips cleaned out of the socket, or all of the above.

I hope the rest for him. That injury was brutal.

I don’t know enough, medically speaking, about his injury, but I’m really questioning the “full recovery” part that was put out there the other day. My gut just says this ruins this kid’s career. Sure hope I’m wrong and medical/technological advances make it possible for a full recovery and him to play again at full speed.

I don't see Alabama scoring enough points to beat Auburn without Tua. And, their defense has been less than years past. I has Auburn wins it and it isn't really much of a football game.
I think Alabama losing coordinators on a regular basis like DC Jeremy Pruitt to Tennessee and OL Coach Brent Key to Georgia Tech has started to weaken them as a whole.

Yes, even the great Saban can't pick a winner every single time. Plus, he's 68 years old. At some point, he is going to be sitting in the living room of some HS kid and the kid is going to realize that Saban won''t even be around by his sophomore year in college.

If the Roman Empire can fall, so can the the Crimson Dynasty.

Nick Satan's recruiting will start to fall off like Bear Bryant's did from 1980-1982.

I think that's overblown. Saban's coaching staffs, particularly the assistants that work under the coordinators, have always been a revolving door. Kirby was his DC for a long time, but the assistants under him changed all the time, and the offensive side of the ball has always been a revolving door.
