Only one or two games against top 25 teams seems to be a trend for other conferences.

Considering Tubbs is on a short leash with the fan base despite his recent contract extension, I'd say that's a smart play on his part.

And don't think that things are going your way in September either. I realize you want to spout off about "having the guts to play them" but opening 0-1 is no way to begin a rebuilding year.

2011 opener would be the perfect time to play them...they lose a 4 year starter at QB and 4 starters on the OL.

Tubbs looks to be doing well on the recruiting trail. This could be the best class TT's ever had (you know, 'cause recruiting started when Rivals hit the interwebs).

NC is the one rebuilding. TN just finished its 2nd rebuilding year.
