Just for clarification purposes, is a user able to watch anything that is streaming on SECN+ via the ESPN app with an ESPN+ subscription if the user doesn't have a traditional cable provider subscription?

I believe there are some games that you get just by having the ESPN app, but there are others that you can only access through the app if you have access to the SEC network using a traditional provider.

I think it's described in the link below, although it can be a bit confusing.

Yes, it's a little confusing because there are a lot of articles that contradict each other, so I figured that I'd ask for a clarification from anyone that had actually purchased ESPN+.

For example, the below article has the following blurb:

"SECN+ is a sports streaming service, or more accurately, it is a SEC branded section of the ESPN Plus streaming platform from ESPN."

Depends on what you mean by "traditional cable provider subscription." I use YouTubeTv and it works. But yes, you must couple it with a provider, it doesn't just work on its own.

Pretty shocking that the best LSU/TN gets is ESPNU and Arkansas only has 1 televised game and itā€™s on the SEC Network. I figured those series would be in high demand.

Ole Miss/Vandy and A&M/MSU also play the weekend of our LSU series. These series in March and April are still during the women's college basketball tournament and the NBA playoffs, which ESPN also broadcasts. The Masters is the first weekend in April. Many contracts to fulfill.

I hope the UTAD has invested the funds to improve the streaming broadcasts. We're a top-10 program where thousands can't get tickets with players from all over the nation whose families want to see the games.

Time to put in at least 4 cameras and a dedicated play-by-play guy who is just on TV.

Hell! I bet Mike Keith would do the weekends?!?!

It is a HUGE downer. Flipping on some other teams streams and the production values look so good, so professional and then coming back to our VHS telescope cam is awful. We aren't going down anytime soon throw a few bucks at it! I can see the camera set up just off the left of the batter's eye but when I come home and watch the video it looks like it's being shot from right field. Better camera angle to see balls and strikes would help too.
